   Floyd Smith, who enjoyed a modest career during the Original Six Era, mostly with the Red Wings. When he coached the Sabres, Leafs, and Cincinnati in the WHA, he always had a very tough team and a few legitimate heavyweights!

   Totally agree….Gotta love that coach…who was that?

   The problem is teams cannot protect their own players. This is why cheapshots occur so often in the game. Much more dangerous than fights.

   Did you see the coach tell the players to go? Nowadays that coach would have been banished for life. I loved hockey in the 70s. Those were the golden days of hockey. Sixteen teams, superstars on every team and Bobby Orr in his prime. Nothing like this now. Can you say BORING!!!
