@Dymez187 I hear what your saying Rondo is athletic he’s pretty long and he hustle’s hard on defense.If you watch the celtics the only guy who can create his own shot off the dribble is Pierce.Ray Allen can only hit shots coming off a screen.If the Celtics had CP3 right now they could probably realistically beat the Cavs in 7 games.Rajon Rondo is a liability offensively so when the Celtics play a high powered offense they struggle because it’s hard for them to score 100 points.
i understand cp has a jump shot, rondo gets that ball off where needs to be…hes a hustler and crazy athletic with phenom passes. rondo makes his team good by using speed and and great passes to other key players. .. Pass the ball, that’s his job hes a play maker….or he just take you to the paint…don’t forget the paint……..the paint lol….so we can talk about this all day rondo cant shoot like cp but cp ain’t strong or fast as rondo…they both incomplete.

@Dymez187 i agree that the celtics score with rondo.All im saying is Chirs Paul is arguably the top point guard in the league.Rondo is top 6 or 7.If CP3 was on the celtics offensively they’d be tougher to stop.CP3 is also a very good on ball defender he doesnt have the speed of Rondo but he a good defender also.

rondo is purely more athletic than paul in every aspect…his court vision is phenomenal. i understand that many of the people that dont agree cant watch him as usually as people in the boston area, but hes unbelievable, and only getting better
Yea it kind of sucks because i know rondo was like screaming at paul ” you’ll never get a ring ” or something on those terms. the thing is rondo has his ring n he fits perfectly with that celtics system. the year they won the ring n the way Pierce was playing, like u said put chris paul, healthy KG, n pierce. Chris Paul is a better PG then Rondo. Don’t get me wrong Rondo has game but he doesn’t compare to CP3. Rondo is good because of the Big 3. Paul has no one but D West. Put CP3 on the Celtics. He might have 20ppg but he’ll deff avg. around 16 Nd his assist numbers will out the roof. Plus CP3 has a better jump shot, better court vision, he’s just a better pg. Rondo has more length which makes him a better defender. Sorry rondo fans, he will never be better than CP3..

Totally agree.If Chris Paul was on the Celtics they would win 70 games plus this year.
teams can game plan more against paul. You cant focus too much on Rondo cause of the big 3. This allows rondo to get more easier baskets. Even with that said, paul is still more productive and is a better point gaurd.
it does make sense. If you put chris paul on the celtics they will be even more unstoppable. Put Rondo on the hornets and that team will go down.
rondo does not have a mid-range shot. thats why he is not better than paul. Paul is actually a true point gaurd. I wouldnt consider rondo a true point gaurd. If they swapped teams, you would really see whos better.
how does that not make sense. If you make Rondo switch teams with Chris Paul, do you honestly think Rondo could get the same numbers as he’s getting now with the Celtics? Chris Paul has ultimately no one except maybe David West and he still gets stellar numbers. Rondo gets a lot of assists but take away Allen, Garnett, and Pierce. Rondo would be just an average point guard. The Celtics are an amazing team but Rondo is not a top point guard imo.
