   I REALLY LIKE THIS BOOK BY JOHN MCCALLISTER ABOUT THE 1979 WORLD CHAMPION BUCCOS. THE BOOK HAS A BRIEF STORY ABOUT THE PLAYERS, COACHES, MANAGER AND ALL WHO HELPED WIN THE SERIES. THIS IS AN EASY TO READ BOOK WITH ALOT OF GOOD STUFF. IT COVERS THE NL PLAYOFF AND WORLD SERIES IN GAME BY GAME DETAIL. THE PIRATES HAVE BEEN BAD FOR MANY YEARS AND WILL SET THE RECORD FOR THE MOST CONSECUTIVE LOSING SEASONS WITH 17 THIS YEAR. THIS BOOK IS AN EXCELLENT WAY TO BRING BACK THE GOOD OLD DAYS WITH SISTER SLEDGE BLARING THE WORDS “WE ARE FAMILY”. RECOMMENDED FOR ALL PIRATE FANS.

   This is a great book for Pirate fans. It provides short bits on the team, players, announcers, etc. during the 1979 World Championship season. A must have for any real Pirate fan!
