From GamblersTelevision.com College Football Saturday Stanford Cardinal at Arizona St Sun Devils (-14) (10PM ET) (FOX Arizona) Stanford was home last week and took advantage of a very young Oregon St team breaking in a new front 7 and set of running backs. This week it’s a little different as they travel to the desert to face quarterback Rudy Carpenter and the Arizona St Sun Devils. Since coming to Arizona St head coach Dennis Erickson has greatly improved the Sun Devil defense. The Sun Devil front seven looked good last week. Look for the Sun Devil defense to bring pressure on Pritchard and get to him. Stanford’s secondary is very weak and gave up 404 passing yards last week against Oregon St.. Rudy Carpenter has led the Sun Devils in blowouts the last two seasons to a combined score of 79-6 against Stanford. Bad matchup for Stanford as Carpenter exploits this bad secondary. Arizona St pounds Stanford. Selection Arizona St -14

From GamblersTelevision.com Pro Football St Louis Rams at Philadelphia Eagles (-7 ½) (1 ET) (FOX) Donovan McNabb is healthy. Brian Westbrook is healthy. The Eagle defense is healthy and added Ammante Samuel to the secondary. And when they add a nickel back you have Lito Sheppard coming into the game. Look out for the Eagles. Looking at McNabb during the preseason and late last season he looked much more mobile and was able to move well out of the pocket to avoid pass rushers. The Eagles are thin at the receiver position with injuries to Kevin Curtis who will miss week 1 and Reggie Brown who may play though a bad hamstring. DeSean Jackson should get some time at wideout and had a good preseason. Tight end JT Smith is healthy and will be a target for McNabb on Sunday. Michael Westbrook is also a threat in the passing game. The Rams are young on defense and face a tough test on the road here. The Rams will improve as the season progresses. Rams running back Stephen Jackson was a holdout until August 20th and missed most of training camp. The Rams offensive line will be tested trying to protect Marc Bulger who was smacked last season. The Eagles want blood here because they are out to prove to the league that they will contend in 2008. Take Philadelphia –7 ½. Selection: Philadelphia –7 1/2

bit.ly Shortly after the Yankees tabbed high-schooler Cito Culver in the first round of the Major League Baseball draft on Monday night, many draft experts were so harsh in their criticism it could have made Mel Kiper Jr. blush. Baseball America had the 17-year-old shortstop ranked 168th, leading many to question why the Yankees chose the Rochester product so high. Damon Oppenheimer, the Yankees’ VP of amateur scouting, said Culver was the highest-ranked position player left on their board when their pick came around, making the decision easy.

From GamblersTelevision.com From our Rockstar Studio Tony T here from Gamblers Television covering College Football Vegas Style all season long. College Football Thursday Oregon St Beavers at Stanford Cardinal (+3) (6PM ET) (ESPN 2) Oregon St travels to Palo Alto to kick off the season with a Pac 10 Conference game with Stanford. Stanford gets Oregon St here at the right time. The Beavers are replacing their entire front 7 on defense. Oregon St usually starts slow and especially on the road. The Beavers are 0-6 straight up in their first road game in Mike Reilly’s last 6 seasons as head coach. Junior quarterback Lyle Moevao gets the start with Sean Canfield backing him up and hopefully their revamped offensive line can give them blocking. These two QB’s combined to lead the Pac 10 in interceptions the last season. The running back position is very inexperienced for the Beavers with two freshmen and a transfer in the backfield. Stanford beat USC and Cal last season and look for head coach Jim Harbaugh to have his Cardinal team sky high for this national TV appearance, which will help the program for recruiting purposes. Stanford needs this win with a road game at Arizona St and at TCU up next for Stanford. Take Stanford +3 Selection Stanford +3

From GamblersTelevision.com Fromour Rockstar Studio this is Tony T and now its time for College Football coverage with a lighter touch of Vegas. Its our Chick Pick Segment. We now welcome back to Gamblers Television with her Chick Pick Tricia Regan. Hello Tricia. Tricia Hi Tony and Hey everyone Tony: Tricia what did you think about last years Georgia and Florida game. When Georgia scored their first touchdown their entire players race to the end zone to celebrate. Since both teams are in the SEC dont you think that type of behavior might come back to haunt you? Tricia: Youve got to think so! I dont understand the thought behind giving an opponent any more incentive to beat you than they already have. If anything, youre just making it harder on yourself and your team. Tony: OK lets pick the big game from the SEC. Its Georgia and Florida with Florida a 5 ½ point favorite. Tricia give us a winner here. Tricia: Take Florida to cover the minus 5 1/2 point spread. The Gators have outscored opponents 152 to 33 since September. They have the SECs top-ranked scoring Defense at 11.9 points per game, AND they lead the SEC in scoring at 42 points per game. And just incase the Gators needed some extra motivation to shut down the Bulldogs chance at the SEC East Division & any National Title hope, dont forget last seasons game where Georgia humiliated Florida with a first-quarter, entire-team touchdown celebration. Tony: Really Tricia. What did you think of Georgias impressive victory

From GamblersTelevision.com College Football Saturday Alabama vs Clemson (-5) (5PM ET) (ABC) Alabama and Clemson will meet Saturday on a neutral field as they are playing in the Georgia Dome. The Crimson Tide struggled down the stretch losing their last 4 regular season games including a horrible loss to Louisiana Monroe. Alabama is young and has 10 freshmen that could see significant action in this game including two of them in the wide receiver position. You also have to factor in the dome as many of these young freshmen probably never played a football game inside a dome. Clemson has the experience with 9 seniors and quarterback Cullen Harper who is being regarded as an NFL prospect. Harper passed for just under 3000 yards last season. The team also returns 7 starters on defense and one of the nations best secondaries. Behind quarterback Harper is senior running back James Davis who rushed for over 1000 yards and back CJ Spiller who rushed for 768 yards. There are 2 seniors starting at wide receiver led by 6’5″ Aaron Kelly who caught 88 passes for over 1000 yards and 11 TD’s. Tyler Grisham contributed with 60 catches for 653 yards. Clemson is getting Alabama at the right time here, as the Tide will improve off this effort and experience. Too much experience at the playmaking positions for the Tigers. Play Clemson –5. Selection Clemson -5

We now welcome to Gamblers Television with her Chick Pick Tricia Regan. Hello Tricia. Tricia Hi Tony and Hey everyone Tony: Tricia last week the Saints pounded the Raiders. As a fan of the Silver and Black it bothers me to have to go through another bad season. How bad are these Raiders? Tricia: Well, I had serious hope for the Raiders in the beginning of the season, but unfortunately, the pattern hasnt changed this year. I think Al Davis needs to get some hard-core Raider Nation fans out there and put them on the D-line, and see if we cant save the season. Tony: OK now its time for Tricias Chick Pick. We are going to look at the Big game from the NFC South this week My man The Unit from New Orleans called me up and told me to have Tricia talk about this game because he is heading down to catch it. New Orleans Saints at Carolina Panthers. Carolina is a 3 point favorite. The game kicks off at 1PM Eastern time with Fox televising. OK Tricia is it the Saints or Panthers? Tricia: Alright Tony, your friend The Unit will like this. Take New Orleans with the 3 points. Although the Saints have been inconsistent this year, they are coming off one of their best games of the season beating Oakland 34-3. Quarterback Drew Brees led the saints to their first turn-over free game, and had 3 touchdowns to beat the

Tricia Hi Tony and Hey everyone Tony: The Pac 10 race is in the Oregon St Beavers hands. They win out and they are in Pasadena on January 1st. I cant believe this team rebounded in conference play after a gut wrenching Pac 10 loss back in week 1 against Stanford. Tricia: You know it says a lot about a team. Sometimes its difficult to start the season out on a bad note, but it seems like this Beavers team has proven they definitely deserve to be where there at. Tony: OK now its time for Tricias Chick Pick. Lets pick the Oregon St Beavers at Arizona Wildcats with Arizona a 2 ½ point favorite. How do you see this one? Tricia: Take Oregon State with the 2 1/2 points. With 5 straight wins overall and 6 in a row in the Pac-10, the 21st ranked Beavers will be looking to end their road schedule with a victory at Arizona. With an offense and defense that has been looking great- I dont see Oregon State losing to the Wildcats, a team they have beaten in 8 of the last 9 meetings. Tony: Yes Tricia but Arizona has played well in front of the home folks. They only allowed 17 points to USC in Tucson. Plus the Wildcats have covered every point spread at home for a perfect 5-0 against the spread record. Tricia: well, so far. But

Bowl Selection Show talks about the 2008 Gator Bowl, to be played Jan. 1st between the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Clemson Tigers.

From gamblerstelevision.com Fromour Rockstar Studio this is Tony T and now its time for College Football coverage with a lighter touch of Vegas. Its our Chick Pick Segment. We now welcome to Gamblers Television with her Chick Pick Tricia Regan. Hello Tricia. Tricia Hi Tony and Hey everyone Tony: Tricia, BYU is a little disappointed playing in the Las Vegas Bowl once again. This team had higher aspirations as they thought they had a good shot of playing in a BCS Bowl game. Tricia: I know, poor cougars! This is gonna make it their 4th-straight appearance in the Las Vegas Bowl. Tony: OK now its time for Tricias Chick Pick. BYU and Arizona meet in the Las Vegas Bowl with the Wildcats a 3 point favorite. What happens here. Tricia: Take Arizona minus the 3 point spread. Although the Wildcats were picked to finish 7th in the Pac-10 this season, they ended up working their way up to 5th, with a huge archrival win over ASU. Although both teams boast great offenses, lead by strong-armed quarterbacks, I think the Wildcats will be able to pull this one away from BYU. Tony: I agree with you on this one. This is not one of byus better defensive teams. Arizona plays better defense and held the USC Trojans in check on the season. Tricia: Youre right. I just think that this Arizona team- playing their 1st bowl game in a decade- is gonna come out with something to prove. Tony: I think the Wildcats will be motivated to finally reach a bowl game under Mike Stoops. I see Arizona wanting to
