May 11th, 2010: The Cavaliers tried to gain back their momentum after the loss in game 4. The Cavaliers got off to a good start leading by 6 at the half but in the 3rd quarter, everything was the Celtics. Rondo scored 12 of his 16 in the third (he was scoreless in the 1st half) and dished out 7 assists. The Big Three stepped it up big time all of them scoring 64 points total. LeBron was also expected to have a big night but again did not. He went cold throughout the whole game going 3-14 and finishing with 15 points. The Celtics came up huge in the 2nd half outscoring them and winning it 120-88 Box Score sports.yahoo.com


March 12th, 2010: The Celtics win in double digits as the starters play only less than 30 minutes. The game was led by Paul Pierce who had 20 points, and Rondo dished out game high 11 assists. The bench got a good couple of minutes where Davis and Robinson both scored 15 points. The C’s win it 122-103. Box Score sports.yahoo.com

Scottie Pippen and Michael Jordan led a first-half assault as the Chicago Bulls put together their best game of the playoffs, trouncing the Indiana Pacers, 106-87, in Game Five to regain control of the Eastern Conference finals. Pippen, who missed two crucial free throws at the end of Game Four, scored 17 of his 20 points in an outstanding all-around first half. He shot 7-of-12 from the field and again smothered Pacers point guard Mark Jackson, who managed five points. “Dealing with Monday night’s loss was very tough for me personally,” said Pippen, who had been shotting less than 40 percent from the field and under 50 percent from the line in the series. “I wanted to go and attack the basket tonight, use all the energy I had, to make up for the mistakes I made on Monday.” Jordan, who missed a three-pointer at the buzzer in Game Four and joined coach Phil Jackson in criticizing the referees afterwards, also scored 17 first-half points. He shot 12-of-20 from the field and finished with 29 points. “We came out tonight with something to prove,” Jordan said. “We decided to be the aggressors.
