I think that he has been, and remains, a relatively high-caliber NHL goaltender, but that, at least pretty much from his entrance as a Canuck, he has been quite overhyped for quite a while amongst the media, sports analysts, the fans, etc…
Aside from that, I do believe that he, at least, has been one of the relatively upper-tier goaltenders in the NHL, although that has seemed to have been subject to some speculation as of fairly late…

Luongo dives with precision he gets his stick down, and his glove over to cut down the angle, and he keeps his stick close, and lifts it if he thinks the player is gonna raise the puck.

The Vancouver Canucks exist since ages but like San Hoeshey and Blues never won a cup? In ’98 they had a big chance with Messier, Bure, Mogilny, Naslund, Ohlund and they didn’t even make the playoffs!!! Unfortunately I don’t see them winning a cup in the near future. But who knows o_O
As a goalie it hurts to admit this, but most goalies dive from time to time. Brodeur dives, Hasek dove, Roy dove; its nothing that is exclusive to Luongo.
