    I’ve heard about the legendary “Copcabana” brawl. The newspapers made it into a very big deal. Thanks for posting the real story “straight from the horse’s mouth,” told by somebody who was actually there. I’m glad the lawsuit against Hank Bauer was dismissed. Nowadays they’d probably give the guy several million bucks just because famous baseball players were involved. Back then they saw it for what it was: some jerk’s attempt to score financially from his own bad behavior. Justice prevailed.
