I read the other reviews about there being no volume control and the voice being slightly irritating–I’d have to agree. However, it is educational and the adults had some fun with it at christmas.

This is a great toy! We had the “Around the World” version, so we knew basically what this one would be like. Very educational, easy to use and fun. My 7 year old and 4 year old love to play with it. It is durable. It has been dropped, stepped on, fallen on, and still works perfectly. The only complaint I have about it is that there is no volume control for the sound, and it seems kind of loud at times. I would recommend this toy happily!

My granddaughter really enjoyed playing with this present on Christmas morning. I was a little scared that it was broken, at first, but a fresh set of batteries kept it going.
