any man that thinks steve moore deserves THIS for the hit on naslund is out of his mind! he obviously needed more of a hammering in addtion to the fight with cooke, but piledriving one’s head into the ice from the back is absolutely not what he deserved. this is the result of the instigator rule. cheap shots and careers ended. bert’s career would never be the same and that’s sad, knowing how good of a player he was. and Moore was just a rookie…

Red Wings have finished in the top 3 in the NHL for about 10 years now. They pick up Bertuzzi, and they’re out of the playoffs. Why would his team-mates even defend him in a situation like this, especially Hedberg, who looks like an idiot? Moore had already fought in this game, so they had got their revenge. Bertuzzi is stupid as a hockey player and I would never allow him to play on my team. (P.S. Did anyone else check out the score?)

Yeah everything is negative that came out of that situation. No positives at all. But yeah i feel bad for Steve Moore as well. And just to add something to that is that Bertuzzi never imagined that these repercussions would have the effect that they did. In the heat of the moment when he wasn’t using his brain to the full capacity, he snapped…. and it really sucks for everyone involved.
