You wanna know what Ravens fans are much much worst about their team moving. I mean come on that move was almost 30 years ago and Bob Irsay (who I might add aside from not getting his team to win is no different then Art Modell) has been dead for practically 14 years. Plus the city of Indianapolis never has and never will want to take credit for any of the Colts accomplishments in Baltimore although a lot of us will always respect them in another city.
@burban33 I agree with you completely. I heard that he had been secretly negotiating with Baltimore as far back as the early 80s. He didn’t care about wanting a new stadium when the Tribe was getting their new place built, then at the last second demanded a new place. The NFL was willing to rent out Ohio Stadium in Columbus and Art refused. He’s a coward.
I am sick of all the Browns fans who are still perseverating over the move to Baltimore. Guess what? It’s over, and it’s *been* over for 14+ years! Move on! You’ve had the Browns back for over a decade, and the team is starting to turn around for the better! Bottom line: Live for the here and now, not for the there and then!
@ratmaslove THe Titans were my team in Houston before they were your team. There was no reason for the Oilers to leave Houston especially when the city of Houston promised that by 1998 or 99 the funding would be there for a new stadium.

WTF you guys still have the Fucking NAME and HISTORY of the Browns. Baltimore LOST the History and NAME. Johny U is to the NFL hall of fame a INDY COLT. EVEN though he PLAYED in Baltimore. At least ART for what the hell u think of him had the BALLS to Tell the Public. Irsay Fled without telling HIS teams Loyal fans. We had it harder than U. By the way were the hell was at this sympathy for the Baltiomore when our team left with EVERYTHING.

No offense to you or your team by any mean’s but you don’t seem like a person who would call the Colts a stolen team which makes you a much better sports fan in general then the Ravens fans who call the Colts a stolen team. Just letting ya know.

I know all about the Browns move in 1996, aside from voting down Art Modell’s little survey @ Candimen yards he made up just to be an asshole to Cleveland and see if Baltimore could match their offer for the Browns name, the city of Baltimore had absolutely nothing to do with the Browns changing their name. It was already basically sold to Cleveland before they moved.

Where in reality giving credit where credit is due, yes Bob Irsay does suck but he has been dead for over 10 years and his son Jim is absolutely nothing like him he is a wonderful owner. And aside from getting a winning team Art Modell is absolutely no different then BOB Irsay.
@tedkissel YES!!! Thank you, Ted. This is what I tried to tell some Baltimore fans a few weeks ago, but they have their head so far up Art Modell’s ass, that he could rape a 12 year old girl in broad day light in the middle of times square and they would still defend him.
I would love Rush Limbaugh to own my team, they would be a winner just like Rush! Number one show with the number one team it goes hand and hand.
What was awesome was the Ravens winning the super bowl in 2000 and the great Art Modell recieving the Vince Lombardi trophy!
This was the saddest day in Cleveland Sports history. Even the losses now are tolerable because at least there is a “Browns team” now
