Oklahoma State head coach Eddie Sutton and host Tom Dirato look back at the Cowboys’ 84-68 home win over Missouri, and a heartbreaking 67-66 loss at Kansas. Adrian Peterson led the Cowboys against Missouri, putting up 20 points in the 84-68 win. The Pokes pulled away from Mizzou in the second half, which Coach Sutton said was OSU’s best 20 minutes of basketball at that point in the season. Desmond Mason scored 13 points and Doug Gottlieb contributed with 13 assists. OSU lost in overtime at Kansas after a controversial foul at the end of the overtime period allowed the Jayhawks to sink the game-winning free throw with no time left on the clock. The Cowboys lost 67-66, in spite of Adrian Peterson and Joe Adkins combining for 41 points at Allen Fieldhouse. This episode’s Off the Court feature looks at some of the most exciting moments from “old” Gallagher-Iba Arena before its renovation and expansion.
