The angels played the Oakland A’s on this day. The Angels bullpen let things go away late in the game. Scott Downs in the 8th threw pitches out of the strike zone and Jordan Walden had a throwing error in the 9th which could’ve been a double play to ending the game. The Angels lost 6-5 and the losing pitcher was Walden, who blew the save & the game.
