I used to go to the Flames games back then. My aunt worked at the Omni. She got me Curt Bennett’s hockey stick. I still have it.
I saw the last pro hockey game at the Omni (Atlanta Knights vs. Cincinnati Cyclones, sometime in Spring 1996). That arena was awful in terms of sightlines.

OMG!!!! I grew up in that arena…and was a huge Flames fan.But all good things come to an end…the Omni is gone..as are the Flames(to Calgary)…GO THRASHERS!!!!!!
